The LOPSI research group belongs to the Center for Automation and Robotics (CAR), which is located in Arganda del Rey, Madrid. The CAR is a joint center of the CSIC (Council for Scientific Research) and the UPM (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid). The CSIC is a Spanish public agency funded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation, which is devoted to the acquisition of scientific knowledge and the development of technology which are useful to society.
